According to Buddhist tradition, when a great enlightened teacher passes into parinirvana, his students have an extraordinary chance to receive blessings by making supplications, commitments and offerings. This is an especially powerful time to request blessings while praying that more emanations of this master manifest in this world to benefit all beings. The 49th day of the passing into parinirvana is the culmination of this powerful period. This is the most important day that gives an opportunity to the disciples of the master to purify their broken vows and quickly develop their practice.

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, as a great enlightened Bodhisattva, gives us this incredible chance to receive his lineage blessings and purify our negative karma. The 49th day of his parinirvana is the best moment to strengthen our connection, as his disciples, and to merge our mind with the heart essence of our precious teacher. During this auspicious day, whatever virtuous aspirations and commitments we make will swiftly be fulfilled.

During the special prayer gathering Khen Rinpoche Pema Choephel (Spiritual Director of Palyul Centre UK), Lopon Karma Phunthso, Lopon Tsewang, Lama Chony Wodser, Lama Dawa and Sangha members’ll accumulate prayers for the Swift Rebirth of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche along with many other auspicious prayers:
